Matthew L. Wilson
'Serving with Honor' is more that just a slogan.
From the battlefield to the courtroom, Matthew Wilson stands above the rest as a servant of the people. In the infancy of his military career, he stood apart at the United States Military Academy at West Point as a recipient of the Dean's List Commendation all 8 semesters he attended, as well as a recipient of the Superintendent’s Award for Achievement.
During his service in the United States Army he served as a Platoon Leader in Iraq, achieving the rank of Captain and receiving the Bronze Star Medal for heroism in ground combat.
Upon his return to the States he worked for USAA and the United States Attorney's Office. He also served as Judge Advocate General at Camp Mabry, providing legal counsel to soldiers and airmen.
Matthew received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin; and now dedicates his time to serving Austinites as the principal attorney in his own practice, Matthew Wilson Law.
